General program

Grids

Records such as employees, deductions, and vendors are displayed in a list grid. Example

The number of items included in the list is displayed in the lower right corner. Example

1. • Search for an individual record or display all records

   • Use filters to select the data you want to display in a window or include on a grid report

   • Arrange the grid

   • Change the number of records displayed on a page

   • Re-size & rearrange columns in a grid

   • Sort the records by a single column or multiple columns

   • Show or hide columns in a list window

   • Aggregate data in columns

   • Options available with Enhanced Reporting — Basic tier

   • Table Display Settings dialog: To save the columns that are displayed, the width of the columns, the order in which columns are displayed, the column on which the records are sorted, how data is grouped & aggregated, and the number of items displayed on a page.

   • Condense the data in grid reports using the Combine with Previous Group command

• Account code assistant: Use this assistant to select accounts codes for transactions

• Account code allocation: Use this feature if transactions are split between multiple accounts.
