Grid Reports — Export to File

With the Enhanced Reporting premium tier, you can create custom data exports by arranging and filtering the columns displayed in a grid.

The export file includes only those columns you've chosen to display in the grid, and the columns are in the order you've selected in the grid. In addition, any filters you've applied will determine which set of data is exported.

You can used saved grid settings for the export file, or arrange & filter the columns on the fly. Use the Export Options in the Output Settings dialog to set the file name, file delimiter, and date format for custom exports from the grid, as well as deciding whether or not to include the column headers in the export file.

You can also choose to include the setup for an export file as a named export in the drop-down list in the Exports window.

Export the data from a grid

  1. Once you've filtered and arranged the grid the way you want for the export file, you can export it directly or save the grid settings.
    If you've already saved grid settings, recall them by selecting them from the grid settings menu.

  2. Designate the export options in the Output Settings dialog, if you haven't already done so.

  3. Click on the Export to File icon.

  4. When the Save As dialog opens, navigate to the location where you want to save the file, and click Save.
