Administration Overview

Use the Administration module to manage:

• Security

• Users and security templates

• Account code security

• Requisitioners: the employees authorized to create the requisitions and leave requests

• Configuration

• System configuration

• Create an accounting cycle

• Configure the modules — Purchasing, Cash Receipts, Accounts Receivable, HR, Payroll, and Capital Assets

• Scheduled jobs such as sending emails to notify approvers there are requests awaiting their action. Add, edit & delete scheduled jobs.

• Signatures used to print on forms in the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Human Resources modules

• Logos used to print on payroll, liability & warrant checks and purchase orders

• Tag groups, custom field configuration, and tags — Tag groups are lists of values to be used in pull-down lists for entering data into custom fields.

• Fiscal Year End

• Rollover dashboard, Anatomy of the FYE Rollover Dashboard, FYE Rollover Checklist

• The leave approval process used in the Employee Self-Service module
