Payroll Security

Along with the operations specific to it, a security level (with the exception of Check Printer) allows you to perform operations available to lower levels of security within the same module. The minimum security levels to perform tasks are listed below, with roles listed in order from greatest access to least access.

Payroll Check Printer

• View, print, verify, reprint, & void paycheck

Payroll Liability Check Printer

• View, print, verify, reprint, & void liability check

Payroll Administrator

• Payroll configuration

• Rollover deduction sets

• Rollover leave balances

• Void payroll register

• Void payroll voucher  

Payroll Manager

• Enable, disable, & delete a deduction

• Approve, change, & delete a deduction set

• Remove an employee from payroll

• Undo submit of payroll register

• Approve payroll register

• Approve payroll voucher for payment

Payroll Operator

• Add, change, & copy a deduction

• Add & copy a deduction set

• Preview net pay

• Change employee payroll information

• Change jobs/addenda payroll information

• Submit employee to payroll

• Submit & remove a job to/from payroll

• Add, change, & delete payroll register

• Submit payroll register

• Set mass hours

• Add job to a register

• Add supplemental pay

• Exclude an employee deduction

• Add, change, & delete payroll voucher

• Include, exclude, adjust, & split liability

• Modify & delete payroll voucher adjustment

Payroll Reviewer

• Generate & print reports
