Payroll Configuration — Deduction Cap Groups tab

Use the Deduction Cap Groups tab if you need to create cap groups in addition to the 403(B) TSA group for IRS-mandated annual caps.

1. Select Payroll Configuration from the Payroll module, then click on the Deduction Cap Groups tab.

2. Click the Add button below the top grid, and the Add Deduction Cap Group popup opens.

3. Complete the fields as described below.

   • Cap Group Name: Enter a brief name. This name will be displayed in Manage Deductions > Deduction Details > Optional Deduction Information section and Deduction Assignment > Deduction Set Detail > Override Group Caps tab.

   • Annual Cap Type: Select either Calendar or Fiscal.

   • Description: Enter a brief description.

4. Click Save.
