Publish Employee Contracts to Employee Self-Service

The Publish to ESS feature automates uploading all contracts of a single type to Employee Self-Service. Each uploaded contract is visible only to the employee for whom it's intended.

  1. Select Employee Contracts from the Human Resources menu, and that window opens.

  2. Check the box for the contract you want to publish, and click Publish to ESS. The Employee Contracts Publish to ESS popup opens.

  3. Select the Document Category from the pull-down list. Note: Document categories are designated in Employee Self-Service > Manage Document Categories.

  4. Edit the Document Description as needed. The format for the default is "<current accounting cycle name> <contract name>" — for example, FY16-17 Certificated.

  5. Optional. Click Preview to review the contracts to be uploaded, if desired.

  6. Click OK to publish the contracts to ESS. You're notified that the job has been added to the queue, and you'll be notified when the job is completed.

  7. When the job is finished, click the Completed link to open the Result window listing successes and failures.

  8. Click Close when you're finished reviewing the results.
