Budget Overview

The Budget module has two parts: Budget Management and Budget Development.

Use Budget Management to enter budget values, approve a budget, make adjustments or revisions to budget values, and rollover a budget. This part includes a feature to import new, adjusted, and revised budgets. First time users of the Budget module will want to use the import feature to import their budgets, and ongoing users will want to use the Budget Management features to make ongoing adjustments/revisions to individual funds during the year.
Use Budget Development to plan your budgets for future fiscal years. This tool allows you to project budgetary increases and decreases, run multiple scenarios, manipulate data, and ultimately import a budget for the new fiscal year.
